Sylvania,OH Area Guide

Settling what used to be swampland, by 1833, Ohio and Michigan were preparing to go to war over the area, each state wanting to claim it. Eventually, though, things were settled in a peaceful fashion and through the years, Sylvania has become the city its residents know today.

From spectacular parks and hiking trails to lovely little shops and big retails stores, Sylvania offers everything for both resident and visitor. If you enjoy fine dining, it’s waiting for you, or if you’d rather have that great cheeseburger with all the trimmings, it’s there too!

Sylvania offers attractions and activities that rank among not just Ohio’s but the nation’s best and would love to have you come for a visit, because we know once you get here, you’ll want to stay!
